Hejiang Pavilion was originally built in the Tang Dynasty, around 1,200 years ago. The present building was reconstructed in 1989. Hejiang means the confluence of rivers. It is located at the convergence of Fuhe River and Nanhe River.
Anshun Bridge could be traced back to the Yuan Dynasty(1271-1368). Marco Polo was once impressed by four bridges in China. Anshun Bridge was just one of the four bridges. The bridge is 81 meters(1969 feet) in length and 6 meters(19.6 feet) in width, straddling Funan River. The distance between the pavilion and the bridge is about 270 meters(889 feet).
Photography Tip:
A tripod is needed and the best time to shoot is between 7:00 P.M. and 8:30 P.M..
